I realize the codes are not retroactive. So, how would you folks look at this. We now have a product -lighter-than-air fuel vehicles, that could go into an existing garage for repair. If there is no air change in the 18" area of the ceiling, it's a class 1 div.2 area. To me, this means the vehicle will create a code violation.
Would you notify garages they can't work on these vehicles?
Would you not care since it's an existing garage?
Would you make garages come into compliance, regardless?
Should I just sit & be quiet on this matter?
Thanks for your opinions. Ron
