Commercial Grade Dimmers?

Is there any references in the code about what grade of device you are required to use on a job? My situation is replacement of a dimmer in a restaurant, right now is a standard 600w diva dimmer, properly sized for the load. Is there anything wrong with putting the same dimmer back or would i need to get something rated for commercial use? Any code references, thoughts, suggestions or information about the grading of different devices would be helpful. I have always been a litte confused about commercial vs spec grade vs industrial etc. what are the differences if any, and when are u required to use them? Thanks for an help

I used to do mostly custom homes and I've actually had the other problem where I had to put commercial dimmers (heat sinks) in a house.

But to answer your question, if the dimmer is rated for the load then you should be fine.
