Do commercial kitchen (Bay Marie) cord and plug appliances require gfi or arc fault protection because it is a combo refrigeration/work station?
 
Since the 2017 NEC, all single-phase receptacles rated 150V to ground or less, 50A or less, and all three-phase receptacles rated 150V to ground or less and 100A or less in kitchens have required GFCI protection. Arc fault protection is not required in a commercial kitchen.
