Good morning,
I have browsed the NEC and struggling to find much with regards, however I am being told by my electrical contractor that receptacles are not allowed under an overhang greater than 6" in a commercial kitchenette - I have attached a few drawings that show the overhang . Any advice would be much appreciated; Their secondary locations would be to face the receptacles out in the wing walls, to which I told them they would likely need their cabinet company to provide some form of hollow cavity to allow a cut-in box and MC; or provide a knee wall on both sides .

Definitely struggled to insert the image, went so created a temporary image link.

While that is true for Dwelling Units (210.52), I don't know of any restrictions on commercial kitchen receptacles.

Here's the image:

So what did I miss on the inserting file ? For me it would only allow me a link, and I was able to create a link with our sharepoint , however it kept saying unable to process the link. Anyhow, thank you for posting the image.
Since you're new it takes several posts before you can upload a photo. What I did was go to the photo and copy the link. Then insert the link between the brackets of {img][/img}. I used this symbol { because the forum software was looking for the image. Replace these { } with [ ] these. This also works for photo links that you can find on the Internet.
