Commercial main panel placement

Doing a bid on a church. Is there any change in the NEC code as to placement of main breaker? Everything I've read is residential.

No it doesn't need to be outside. The 2020 requires an emergency disco, which can be a main panel, outside but not for non residential. Your area may have an amendment, Idk

I edited my question. It's the main breaker placement.

The panel must be adjacent to outside the church or inside as near as possible to where the service conductors enter the building.

Are you asking if the main breaker panel can have the breaker at the bottom instead of the top?

Back in 2020 the code changed on residential that the main had to be outside the home does the same rule apply to commercial buildings
