Had a question asked to me today. Why aren't commercial kitchens with natural gas appliances classified as Class 1, Div 2 spaces? The argument is that if a natural gas leak was present, it could lead to an explosive situation.
I never thought of it and have never classified kitchens with gas appliances. Just thought I'd see where this is addressed in the code.
