Have been asked to provide a checklist for commissioning large skids for an end user. What kind of QC type checklist would you use before sending the following items to an end user?

Large HP motors (meg? verify torque? verify connections?)
Switchgear
Motor Starters (verify torque? operate thru controls?)
Devices (Actuate while monitoring thru ohmmeter?)
Instruments without product or process
Termination cabinets (verify numbering according to print? tug test?)

I am sure I am missing alot. Any help would be appreciated

Right here.
I don't think I've ever installed anything big that didn't already come with its own checklist buried somewhere in the paperwork.

Hire a 3rd party to do the commisioning if you dont know what to do. Or download the NETA acceptance testing specification (ATS), go buy about a millsion $ worth of test equipment, and you can do it yourself.

You can find either a testing company or the ATS at www.netaworld.org
