red mark point is isolated from body of combiner box?

Hopefully someone more familiar with solar installation practice will respond.

I believe that the red mark point is generally isolated from the body of the combiner box.

_However_ there will generally be an electrical connection between the array negative and the system ground/EGC elsewhere in the system, and so you will likely measure continuity between the negative bus bar and the body of the combiner box.

Yes, the negative busbar should be isolated from the box at that point.

Nowadays ungrounded arrays are as common as grounded arrays, so you'll need to look elsewhere in your system design to see if the negative is grounded as Jon describes. But system grounding has always been done atthe inverter, not at combiners.
