Installing a new switched light and outlet. The existing circuit for the switched light is different from the circuit for the outlet. However, I only ran one 14/3 wire with ground supplying the fixtures. The hot wires are connected individually in a central electrical box, but I connected the two neutral hot wires and the 14/3 neutral wire together going to the fixture. Both circuits are tripping. When I disconnect the 3 neutral wires and connect them individually, the breakers do not trip. Is the problem my connection of the 3 neutrals?
Thanks for your advice.
