communication cables

Need some help on this one, comm guys running cat5, multiplexer cable for security cameras and any thing else they can lift and fling above drop ceilings. I have already dinged them for securing cable and all the other things there. I need the code sections that prohibit running these cables through a drop ceiling tile. I know it is there but can't find it this morning.

I don't think there is such a code. There might be restrictions on running through walls, but ceiling tiles can be removed with "damaging" the structure.

Try 800.5 It might help, it just depends how much wire they are flinging up there.
