Does anyone have a complete list of GFCI requirements in accordance with the NEC (to date including 2014) in printed form (PDF or otherwise) ? I had found one that Mike Holt had published for EC&M Magazine but it was only updated to the 2005 NEC. Thanks.

I think you mean something like this. It also is only good to 2005 but wouldn't be hard to update

1968 - Swimming Pool Underwater Lighting
1971 - Receptacles Near Swimming Pools
1973 - Outdoor Receptacles
1975 - Bathroom Receptacles
1978 - Garage Receptacles
1981 - Whirlpools and Tubs
1987 - Receptacles Near Kitchen Sinks
1990 - Receptacles in Unfinished Basements and Crawl Spaces
1993 - Receptacles Near Wet Bar Sinks
1996 - All Kitchen Counter-Top Receptacles
2005 - Receptacles Near Laundry and Utility Sinks

Thanks Rob. When I started this I did some extensive research to see if anyone had made a list completed to 2014. The only ones I had found were by Mike Holt and Jerry Peck complete to 2005. The graph is an excellent portrayal but if you find that Jerry completes one to 2014 would you please post it here ?

Thanks

That one comes directly from Jerry's askthecodeman site. I'm assuming that he hasn't gotten around the 2014 NEC yet but I will keep checking to see if he does.

When this thread was first posted I went hunting for Jerry's list but like Goldstar only found up to 2005 so I did not bother linking it.

FYI, I made a slight change to the GFCI document. In the first part I high-lighted those sections that are 2014 changes or additions. If you've already printed out a copy you'll have to high light those areas yourself.

No I'm afraid that's you're job. I'll be sending you mine to highlight!:p:D

Nice list. I'll keep a copy handy for my customers, when discrepancies arise.

Funny it should pop up on this forum, as I just this week had a customer ask me to review their home inspector's electrical deficiency list. Apparently the home inspector didn't get the memo form 2008 where the exceptions for appliances in dedicated receptacles were no longer excluded form GFCI requirements.

That's a twist. Usually we are complaining about the stuff HI list as violations!:)

If the home was wired before the 08 or depending on when your state adopted it, the dedicated receptacles would still be compliant.
