Was called to day to look at doing power drops for 60 laptop computers in a class room. Not a big deal to do. The only thing that will be running is the laptops. No printers, scanners or any thing. The laptops will be replacing textbooks with read only material. When I ask about amp draw the guy said the power module said 4 amps. Didn't want to get into a "do what" situation with him so I let it go. I looked at my module when I got home and it reads 1.5amps on the input at 120v and 3.5amp on the output at 19v. To be on the safe side I am looking at setting a 125amp sub panel to feed all the drops. See any problems?

nope sounds good to me but are you talking literal drops?

The set up they want is for me to come from sub panel over head in drop ceiling with emt and then down the wall to a j-box. From there it changes to wire mold into plug mold fastened to the frame of the table just under the top. The tables are large enough to set 4 people with there lap tops. They only want 4 outlets per 20 amp circ. per table.

Whew sounds better I use do this for a college and feel better now..I actually made it so you could unsnap the tables so they could do quarterly cleaning of the carpets. it also allowed a more versatile use of the room. I installed a cubicle strip that allowed multiple outlets to be installed and they where numbered ABCD I can not think of the name off the top of my head but I will look it up and get back to you..Might be a real benifit to your customer..:)
