Concealed Receptacle

Someone on this forum posted a site for a concealed receptacle. It basically looks invisible when the wall is finished. Here is a similar one but I am looking for the other that does not have the door. http://www.concealite.com/discover_series.html

I think I'll wire an entire house with those things and drive the AHJ crazy. Do they make a version for switches also? Might as well go for the gusto.

Could I fail you because TR receptacles are not listed?

Seriously. I watched the video and I see also that they have a UL listing.

My question is does it have a > 1/4" around the 'box'?

Nope, that is not it. This outlet blended in very well. It was adaptable to be covered with wood etc but my brain has gone caputz on this one.

I know what it means but what is a TP receptacle? Doesn't matter how they descibe it they SPEC'D it.

Horrors! are they invisible while they are in use? Maybe they should power everything in the room using induction, no cords and have the servants operate the lights remotely.
