Hey there guys, kind of racking my brain on a house I'm bidding, the owner is doing ICF walls basement and main level, in between he is going to use a concrete floor system called Insuldeck, www.insuldeck.com I've attached a picture of the cross section of the floor. There is a 3" raceway built into the foam for my to run wiring thru, then the carpenter is going to lay 2x4's on their side, screwed to the ceiling of the basement side, to attach his sheet rock.
My question is, if this we're an actual conduit, embedded in the concrete, this would probably be a wet location, would this 3" raceway in the foam also be considered a wet location? I can't say for certain these chase don't breathe and don't condensate, but maybe if I run Romex thru them and seal off both end? I don't know, I've never seen this system before. I'm waiting to hear back from my inspector on it so I thought I'd consult the hive mind as well. The carpenter has used it and thinks its awesome, I'm still skeptical at the moment.
Thanks in advance.
