concrete trench for electrical with floor covers

what is the code on concrete floor trench(duct) with floor covers ,to run feeder cables from main panel to equipment. 1200amp sub breaker in main to 1200amp breaker in equipment, run is about 200'.
first time to try this, hope I did it right? jerrydk

I can't recall where but I saw this had been done one place I was at. I wonder how this can be considered any kind of raceway. looked to me like a U shaped concrete trench with the wires laying on the bottom and a heavy metal plate covering it at floor level.

I could see if you embedded race way in the concrete and then put a cover over it to protect the race way lid.
 
Is it a listed floor duct (like Square D), or just something field constructed?

300.3 basically requires conductors to be installed in a chapter 3 wiring method.
 
If you're asking about a cellular metal floor raceway covered under article 374 generally you're limited to a #1/0 as the largest conductor size {374.4} and must apply derating factors when you exceed 3 CCC's in the raceway.
