Is anyone involved with 70E in the D.O.E. world? I have run across a statement in the Con Ops that, in effect, disables the first two steps of the 70E permissible forms of LOTO control. The short version is: When a conflict exists, the stricter of the two shall be followed. Of course this is in reference to OSHA code for LOTO control as compared to 70E. This makes trouble shooting much more cumbersome for all involved. Does anyone have information or been involved in this situation. My goal is full compliance while maintaining efficiency. Your suggestions are much appreciated.
