Two parallel sets of 350KCM wire in 4" conduits enter the back of a CT cabinet. The conductors terminate on lugs in the bottom of the cabinet. The cabinet has a hinged front door (opposite the conduit entries).
What does the depth of the CT cabinet need to be to meet NEC requirements? (Depth as in from the back of the enclosure to the front door.)
It looks to me like its only 5" from 314.28(A)(2) Exception: "Where the raceway or conduit entry is opposite...a removable cover, the distance from that wall to the cover shall be permitted to comply with the distance required for one wire per terminal in table 312.6(A)."
Or is an 8" depth required from table 312.6(A), two wires per terminal? Or should I be using table 312.6(B)?
