Conductor in a Lean-TO

Does the NEC require conduit, or outdoor wire, on a lighting circuit in a lean to. The application is a lean-to off a metal building that is open on three sides. The wire would be ran down the rafter under the roof.

As long as you don't expect the wiring method to be exposed to excessive dampness or moisture, a wiring method for a normally dry location should be fine. Check with your AHJ.
