I am using Craftsman Test prep software to prep for my exam. During a calculation question I ran across a formula that I can not account for one of the factors. In determining conductor resistance for a specific length of wire, the formula the software suggests is: KxL / CM
L = total length of conductors
CM = circular mils of conductor
K= ?
I have been using the ohm per Kft from table 8 in chapter 9 but the numbers in the explanation don't add up with anything from table 8. See attached photo

The circular mils (CM) is the same as the values on table 8 and the length (L) is from the problem
From Table 8 the only reference I can find to (K) is the kFT column which still only reads 1.21 for AWG 10.
Does anyone know where they are getting the value of 12.9 for K.
