Good afternoon everyone! I need some people if you guys dont mind. I dont have a code book ready and I am kinda in a pinch. I am pulling a undergound residental service and I am of course doing it all in copper and I want to get prices from the whole salers on wire. Both for single conductor and parallel conductors. Depending on the cost. Could someone please please help me out with the size wire I need. Please I need it by the end of the day :-?

Here are a few for you to consider:

2/0 - 175 amps
3/0 - 200 amps
4/0 - 230 amps
500 - 380 amps
600 - 420 amps

Voltage drop isn't a problem on a run that short.

I would say parallel 3/0 AWG myself.

For a residential service could we not use parallel 2/0 AWG -- Table 310.15(B)(6)?
