i came across a multiple choice question asking which was allowed in a raceway together...i'm just looking to find out how to go about answering..i really dont remember the specific choices...

one choice was if class 1, 2, 3 circuits be in the same race way

the other choices revolved around 300 and 600 volt circuits? and 120 and 240 and something about it being insulated for 300 mand 600...i could be totally off on how it was worded...

but like i said i'm really just looking on how to find the answer at test time..

anddd ummm

and a grounding type receptacle with a mounting strap? what color should the triangle be ? red, orange, yellow or green...i'm assuming green...but i know grounding anything isnt always marked green..

read 725.55 for the class 123 question
read 300.3c for the high voltage and i also would say green for the other but unsure where to find that one couldnt find it in 250

I think as far as the receptacle thing goes, knowing the actual question would make a big difference in the way it gets answered.

It could be an isolated grounding receptacle question, or a regular receptacle question.

What was the source of the questions?

well, as far as class 1,2,3, i already have a good grasp on that code-wise...

and it was an isolated grounding receptacle...

and the questions are from an ncpcci test

I have to say I agree with Georgestloz.

I have been put in my place many times by innocent but improperly phrased questions.

The question you asked can not be answered without more info.

If you were to ask me "what color is the triangle on the face of an isolated ground receptacle"? I would refer you to the 2005 NEC 406.2(D) and say orange.
