I have heard many different thoughts on this topic and would appreciate additional input.
Scenario:
1200 ampere distribution breaker
(2) Parallel 350 McM conductors off of 1200 ampere breaker terminated in 600 ampere fused disconnect.
Fused disconnect sized for chiller.
The use of the 1200 breaker is because breaker is currently in place and Would be a cost savings vs buying new.
Acceptable or violation?
Code section refence?
