Got a few here I cant figure out.
1. Size and quantity of conductors permissible in a LB. I was looking at cut sheets for 3" LB's today and most manufacturers give the maximum number and size of conductors. One manufacturer however gave only the cubic inches, think it was 177. From that figure how do I get to number and size of conductors? I do not see how to apply anything in 314.28 despite it having "conduit bodies" in the title. I was trying to figure out if I get get 4 350's in a 3" LB.
2. Say I have a pull box with 4 -2 1/2 entries in the back in a vertical row and 4 entries on the right hand side. The way I read it, 314.28(A)(2) requires a minimum distance from entry/exit to opposite wall AND a minimum distance between corresponding entry/exits. Because the holes in the back of the box are opposite the removable cover, it appears the exception gets rid of the first requirement and instead I size the depth of the box from 312.6(A), but do I still need the 6 times rule from entry to corresponding exit?
