What does code or UL say about Conduit or Cable (MC Cable) entry into the back of a Nema 1 Panelboard Enclosure
 
Are you asking if it's permitted? The answer is yes, you could use factory KO's or make your own.

Would you be able to provide a code reference? I always thought that it wasn't allowed either by NEC or UL?
 
I don't know of any general restriction on conduits running into the back of a panel enclosure (cabinet). There will be limitations based on the conductor size and 312.6.
