Working with a client on an underground vault. They are concerned about condensation in conduits, because they have had this issue in the past at other vaults. They are requesting to have conduit drains that have tubing ran to a floor drain. I can't find anything like this. Anyone know of such a product or application? Is this even acceptable under the NEC?
We have tried to explain to them that if the conduit is properly sealed there would be no condensation. They don't want to hear it; they want a conduit drain. Only way around this that I can see is if the NEC doesn't allow such an installation, or there is no such product even made.
If there is a product, I would be OK installing it, I just never heard or seen of such an install.
