conduit entries

I am bringing several conduits into a building that will consist of a 4 in. concrete floor surrounded by an 18 in. deep by 10 in. wide footing. I'll be placing 4-3 in., a 2 in., and a few 1/2 and 3/4 in. conduits.
Any suggestions on spacing, pvc versus metal, can they pass through the footing or should they go under? Unfortunately, they all need to end up right in the same general area along the same wall. The best and safest means to tie them in place during the pour so not to get them knocked off kilter?

Re: conduit entries

We use PVC for underground as it will not rust and is less costly and easier to work with than wrapped GRC. Perfectly suitable to come up through the floor. It's best to go under the footing as footings tend to settle a bit. You should rack your conduits together on either a piece of unistrut or just use a piece of 1/2" or 3/4" IMC and tie wire. Just watch the pour as concrete guys are not real careful with electrical conduits.

The masons generally are worse than bulls in a china shop. The pipes we have sticking up in 'their' floor are a nusuance to them and they rarely care if they are straight, sometimes I believe they try to get concrete in the pipe. I use the factory pvc caps that fit the ends sticking up and I tape them on. I usually will tie wire them to a board with a small piece of wood inbetween each pipe if there are multiple runs.
