Conduit Fill Question.

Chapter 9 tables are given for informational purposes to save you from doing a calculation to find conduit fill when all of your conductors are of the same size and type. Although not part of the NEC one would hope that they are accurate since many of us use them on a regular basis. As Misha has pointed out, obviously they're not.

If not 'code', Chapter 9 on Conduit Fill is good advice...

Conduit Fill is related to 'Cable Alignment' and 'Jam Ratio' , per NEC.

Yes Chapter 9 & Table 1 (page 625) is code, the Annex C tables (pages 657-716) aren?t.
