conduit fill question

I am betting there is a good chance that what you are trying to do is against the code. Are you using the pipe as a sleeve? does it go to a flushmount or surfacemount panel?

look at Note 9 to Table 9 (pg 671 -08 Code) which will tell you how to approach this.
You will probably need to check mfg. sheets for dimensions.

Thats the "how to", but as Matt says.. there are many Code restrictions. If you wish to go there, tell us more about your install.
 
You use the information in Chapter 9, Table 1 (make sure you read note 9), and the information in Table 4 of Chapter 9. You will have to look to the manufacturer for the dimensions of the NM so you can calculate the area.
 
The calculation is similar to that of single conductors. For a flat cable you would use the cable width and calculate it as if it were round.
 
It's been posted here before.... a table of the dimensions of NM cable. But the forum search won't allow 2-letter words to be searched.
