I am having a brain freeze, When determining Approximate area of conductors to do conduit sizing Do I use Table 5 for both Aluminum and copper conductors? or do I use 5A for Aluminum Conductors?

I would say regular XHHW AL. conductors

Aluminum conductors are pretty much always compact, which you use the "A" table for. They made a slight change to the tables a few code cycles ago and moved the word "compact" out of the title and down into its own row, which still screws me up sometimes
