conduit hanger, stand off strap, Payne hanger

So I'm always calling these things by different names and no one ever understands what I'm talking about, I have to include a picture for the inside salesman, so that I don't get the wrong strap. Where I use to live and work they were called payne hangers, and that still brings up the proper image with google; but I have no idea where that name came from, and there seems to be no consistency where I now live and work....
Anyone have the best industry name? Anyone know the origin of the "payne hanger" term I learned as a thinner, younger, handsomer man??

Mineralac makes other styles of straps also - but seems common to call this style "Mineralac".
