Conduit Length

If installing conduit in dirt that doesn't required threading, such as PVC or FRE(fiberglass) would labor be quicker installing 20' lengths rather than 10' lengths and why? Thanks.

It could go either way: the labor of making twice as many joints vs the labor of handling twice the length.

It also depends on the distance of the run; the greater the distance, the more attractive the 20' lengths.

Best I know, 20 foot lengths would be a special order at supply house. Might be an issue with supply chain these days.

Is this for the 4 inch in the other post. That's a 2 man at a time job then. Smaller stuff you'll get alot of dirt in but 2 inch and up goes ok.
