I Like PVC Coated Rigid If You Are Really Concerned About The Weather, Physical Protection, etc.

If you are planning on steel, why not consider IMC? It may be used anywhere RMC is permitted unless you are using it to support a service drop and need the extra strength. If it is a corrosive area, IMC may have a PVC coating just like RMC.
