Conduit Runs

My question is, were in the NEC does it state that when running a conduit, you cannot change conduit size without some type of j.box or condulet?

Example:
I,ve got a 1" conduit running and we changed over to 1/2" sealtite at the end of the run with a 1/2" to 1" RE bushings, is this code?

There is no code that forbids this, as long as the smallest raceway is large enough for the size and number of conductors.
