Conduit Support

When chain hanging 4 ft. fluorescent fixtures say every ten feet and connecting them end to end with EMT and feeding the switch leg through the conduit to each fixture, is the conduit required to be supported as is standard once every ten feet of within three feet of a box?

I don't see why not, as long as it is supported according to code. I suppose that answers the original question.:thumbsup:

Well if I'm not mistake. U still have to follow the 3 ft from fitting rule. And I personally don't use EMT when runnin power for lights that are supported by jack chain. EMT is to rigid with the lights being flexible when hung by jack chain. I would mc cable in this application but wouldn't run directly between lights. Would go up and around to each light. Just my 2 cents.
