Conduit Support

Having a debate with someone over whether this conduit needs to be supported. It is less than 3' long. Wish 344.30A were more clear. Any input? Sorry about orientation of picture.

with in 3 ft. would be equal to or less than 3 ft. the five foot exception is usually having to do with bar joist and the distance they are spaced apart. (structure members)
 
Needs to be supported per the code. Looks pretty well supported to me considering the length. Question is would any inspector ever see it? Doubtful. Could just tap in a 1/4 hole
below the pipe and standoff a mineral clamp. Piece of box tubing as suggested. If I was doing the job myself I would add some kind of support. If someone else did it then I would
turn a blind eye on that one. Have seen a lot worse.
