First time I'm seeing IMC, just an FYI. Does it make sense they are showing two different insulations and also aluminum and copper for? Seem like this is a mistake,

No problem using CU for EGC and AL for ungrounded conductors.

also, referencing MCM instead of kcmil is like having an AOL email address.

Typically XHHW-2 is a stocked aluminum product. Finding aluminum in THWN is not as common

Many engineers will Typically use a copper ground as standard practice
