Hey gang, I am demoing some conduit on a top floor and there are several green wires that come down from the roof and attach to conduits with a strap.
Its a 3/4 EMT that was used for lighting and is being removed.
I am going to have to replace the ground of course and am looking at the code sections on grounding antennas 810.21, do I need to run all these grounds to the electrical room in the basement or can I move these straps to another EMT conduit or water pipe?
Thanks

You need to bond the green antenna EGC wires to the metal EMT conduit at both ends.
Thanks the EMT was for a lighting circuit that was being removed.
They wanted it re attached to another piece of EMT or a pipe.
I was telling the project manager that we need to run a ground to the electrical room, he was asking if code required it?
