Is the class rating or division # listed on flexible metal conduit or liquid tight flexible metal conduit. I have a class 1 division 2 location that an electrician installed a 3 foot section of flexible conduit at a LP Gas dispensing site. Trying to determine if it is ok.

No specific marking is required. However the various forms of flexible raceways recognized in Section 501.10(B)(2) are required to be listed. This has not always been the case for the raceways themselves, but has been a requirement for their fittings for a long time.

In addition, these raceways are NOT generally permitted to be equipment grounding conductors (EGC) where they may have otherwise been recognized to be in ordinary locations. There are some exceptions. See Section 501.30(B)
