Just wanting to increase my confidence and overall ability to run work. I have a few issues with insecurity, and confidence, but want to succeed in the trade.
Any conversations regarding service building, grounding, and controls would be awesome.

Good call, not used to the forum scene, lol. Ok so I am mostly hoping to get better at confidently knowing what to do on a ground up... so, building a service and grounding said service. what is the best way to walk into a new build and own it?

Take a class on understanding the NEC. You will learn what demand factors you can apply, how to determine the ampacity of conductors when used in various conditions, how to determine the size of your GEC, etc.....
