what is the best way to
study for the business and law section for the E-1 in ct?
i have the ct contractors guide
they offer a prep class for the test for $300.00
there must be a way to study without giving the state of ct more money

I studied from that booklet and that was it. I didn't take any prep classes whatsoever and still passed it with a score in the 80's if I remember correctly.

If you're really bad at test taking you may want to consider a prep course. BTW, the money for the prep course does not go to the state. It goes to the company or person offering the course.
