I've always been told and always see floor mount transformers wired with on conduit with supply conductors and a seperate conduit with the load conductors. I have looked and can not find any article in the NEC requireing seperate conduits. I asked my local inspector and he could not find it either. Is seperate conduits a code reguirement and where is it in the code?

There is no code issue that requires seperate conduits, but you will have to look at derating, in many cases, if you put both the primary and secondary conductors in the same raceway. Note this assumes both primary and secondary systems are 600 volts or less.
