Possibly. Article 504 (Intrinsically Safe Systems) would permit it for wiring methods that would permit it in ordinary location conditions. Tray systems might permit it under Sections 501.10(B)(1)(6) and 392.8. What wiring method under 501.10(B)(1) were you envisioning?
