Is there a contactor that can control individual legs of a 3-phase system? reason being is the project I'm working on is installing 44 Block heaters, but they don't want the ability to have all them on at one time (they don't want to use up all the power on site).
Right now the plan is to install a 200A breaker in the MSB followed by a 480V-208/120V step down transformer (with disconnect switches) into a 400A MLO Panelboard. We would like to see if there is a contactor that can control the individual legs and is tied to a timer switch. The timer switch would tell the contactor to turn leg 1 on for 20 minutes, then turn it off and turn leg 2 on for 20 minutes, etc.
Any help would be much appreciated.
