continuous duty?

I have to install a circuit for a shop vaccum. The vac is 18 amps, 220V. I doubt this is considered continuous duty. So it would be ok for me to use a 20 amp circuit?

Unless it is expected to run for more than 3 hours a 20 amp breaker is fine.

sizing for the motor load, wouldn't you need a # 10 (1.25x18=22.5amps) or do u round it down
