I’m looking at examples in Annex D (2017 version).

In example D3, general lighting is continuous loads

In example D1(a), D1(b), D2(a), D2(b), D2(c) general lighting is noncontinuous loads. (even all appliances are noncontinuous loads).

1. Why a general lighting in D3 is continuous loads (+25% added to size the feeder)?

2. In general, why there is no separation continuous/noncontinuous in dwelling calculation (D1(a), D1(b), D2(a), D2(b), D2(c))?

Thank in advance for inputs.

D3 is store building
read continuous in definition
stores have lights on for almost all hours of operation
home has maybe an 1 or 2 and never all the lighting on the circuit.
same with appliance usage.

Sir may I ask for another clarification? As per definition, continuous loads are loads continuously running for 3 hours or more. I believed lightings at homes run for 3 hours or more as well. Thanks
