In the county where I reside, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors put on the agenda for a today's vote. To release prisoners with less than 50K bail. They determined that it would be too expensive to build a new jail to replace a hazardous and unsafe one.

Is that a “yes” or a “no”?

Who the heck signs a contract for $222k in interior remodeling of a home, but doesn’t check for the contractor’s license?

There should be a parallel “dumbass” justice system, like forcing them to work for Habitat for Humanity for a couple of years…

They should be swinging a sledge hammer turning boulders into aggregate, with 3 meals a day of boiled okra, not fried, or pickled, only BOILED, okra. For those who don't know, boiling okra creates a slime with the consistency of snot, the other two ways of preparing okra are actually pretty good.

I know I sound like a broken record, but having lived and worked in CA, as I suggested about your recent code change proposal @mtnelect , put your intentions of gold into closing that general B loophole.
That general B loophole is the size of your state.
