Hi all,
I'm designing a control panel that will contain (3) 480v 3ph input to 24vdc Power supplies. I'm accustomed to having a breaker for each load (power supply), but in this case I'm wondering if I can just have a single 10A Allen Bradley 140UT MCCB (UL489) with through the door disconnect operator that will protect all 3 power supplies. The input current of the power supplies is (1.3A + 1.3A + 0.65A = 3.25A) and the wire size would be #14 to all supplies.
Do I need individual protection for each PS?
Thanks for your time!
