Greetings, Lets say I have a relatively small machine with the control box attached directly to it. It has a standard 110V (NEMA 5-15) power cord supplying power to it and in the box is 1 small VFD, 2 small stepper drives, 1 small 24V power supply and a small PLC. I'd like to have a rotary disconnect (lockout point), but it seems like a 30A 3-pole UL98 disconnect switch is overkill (and quite large) for a single phase 120V 15A circuit. I know a UL508 rated switch is probably out even though it is for the most part small motors/drives that it would ultimately be switching? Are there any other options available I'm not considering? I'm typically used to designing much larger industrial control panels where it is no question/problem, this small stuff that plugs into the wall I'm just not used to. Any other compliant options that are lockout/tagout I'm unaware of? Any help greatly appreciated.

Maybe you can use the plug as the disconnecting means.
