Does anyone have any information that would help to determine the size of an industrial control transformer:

Coils for starters, 24V power supplies & etc....

All step down to 120V, that is higher voltage to....

Just like for anything else, you need to know what the loads are. With starter coils, you need to be sure you have enough power available to pull in the armature. The manufacturer specs will tell you both the required "pull in" current and the "hold in" current.
 
I was speaking about inrush currents on such small x-formers. I know you can take the largest load x 125% and add the sum,,,,.
I just wanted to know how some with experience actually performs the calculation.

Or perhaps I am fishing for some XXX answer as it seems I am often given.
