Controlling DC link voltage in active front end VFDs

Anyone has experience with designing control system for Active Front End Variable Frequency Drives? I am trying to figure out how to control the DC link voltage using ABC-DQ transformation but my findings are contradicting papers I am reading.
Any help - including online references - would be appreciated.

On the active front end units I've used the IGBT input bridge controls it. It is a parameter that can be set on the operator interface unit.
